2.Legal eligibility. You represent that you are not a prohibited person under any applicable federal, state, or local law, and that you are legally permitted to engage in the transactions you intend to conduct on this platform.
3.Platform role. Utah Arms Market is a classified advertising platform only. We are not a party to any transaction, do not take title to any item, do not handle funds, and are not involved in — nor do we guarantee, certify, or investigate — the legal capacity, identity, or credibility of any user.
4.FFL transfers. Firearm transfers that require a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer under applicable law must be completed through an FFL. You agree to comply with all such transfer requirements and to use an FFL whenever legally mandated.
5.Prohibited items. Listings for NFA-regulated items — including suppressors, short-barreled rifles or shotguns, machine guns, and destructive devices — are strictly prohibited, along with forced reset triggers (FRTs), bump-fire devices (such as bump stocks), and unserialized firearms or receivers (including those made by additive manufacturing or 3D printing when not compliant with applicable law). You agree not to list, solicit, or facilitate transactions for such items on this platform.
6.Fraud and scam risk. Utah Arms Market is not responsible for fraudulent transactions or scams. You take full responsibility for verifying the identity and credibility of any other party, and the existence and condition of any item, before sending payment or completing a transaction. Never transmit money based solely on online representations.
7.Personal safety. You are solely responsible for your own safety in any interaction arranged through this platform, including in-person meetings. Exercise caution and use good judgment at all times.
8.Bill of Sale. A Bill of Sale is strongly recommended for private sales between individuals. A template is available on this platform at no charge.
9.Content moderation. Utah Arms Market reserves the right to remove listings, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or our platform policies.
10.Indemnification.You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Utah Arms Market and its owners, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of this platform, your listings, or your violation of any applicable law.
11.Terms updates. These terms may be revised at any time without direct notice to you. Your continued use of Utah Arms Market after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review the current terms periodically.
